The Rural Sociology Group provides Bachelor and Master courses to several education programmes of Wageningen University. A list of all courses offered in an academic year can be found at the education page of the Rural Sociology Wageningen University website. Next to these courses staff of the Rural Sociology Group supervises internships and thesis students from two Bachelor and five Master programmes.

Bachelors programmes

Bachelor programmes have a duration of three years and the first two years courses are mainly taught in Dutch. The language of instruction of third year courses is English, as some of the courses are also mandatory for students from other universities that want to do a Master in International Development Studies or in Health and Society. PhD research and training is mainly carried out in programs, which are endorsed by the Wageningen School of Social Sciences (WASS). If you are interested in a PhD you can contact prof.
