The Rural Sociology Group offers seven courses for the BSc International Development Studies, often in collaboration with other chair groups:

- The Sociology of Farming and Rural Life (RSO-30806)
- Sociological and Anthropological Perspectives on Development (SDC-30306)
- Globalization and Sustainability of Food Production and Consumption (ENP-31806)
- Field Research Practical (SDC-22306)
Courses 1, 2, 5 and 7 are taught in Dutch. Courses 3, 4 and 6 are taught in English as they a mandatory or a restricted optional course in other BSc or MSc programmes.
